1. Who We Are

Habit Hive is provided by STMForge LLC ("STMForge," "we," "us," or "our").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Habit Hive mobile application ("Habit Hive" or the "App").

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in, we may collect:

• Your email address
• Your authentication provider (Apple or Google)
• A unique account identifier assigned by Firebase Authentication

Habit Hive does not receive or store your Apple ID or Google password.

Profile Information

You may choose to provide:

• Display name
• Profile photo

Profile photos are selected only when you choose one. Access to your device's photo library or camera is optional and may be revoked at any time through your device settings.

Habit Information

Habit Hive stores information you create within the App, including:

• Habit names
• Habit descriptions
• Habit colors and icons
• Completion history
• Streak information
• Archived habits stored in the Honey Vault
• Dates associated with habit activity

This information is used solely to provide Habit Hive's functionality.

3. Cloud Storage

Habit Hive uses Google Firebase to securely synchronize your information across your signed-in devices.

Your information may be stored in:

• Firebase Authentication
• Cloud Firestore

This allows your habits and progress to remain available when you sign in on another device.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Create and manage your account
• Synchronize your habits across devices
• Save your progress and streaks
• Personalize your experience
• Restore archived habits
• Improve the reliability and security of the App

5. Sharing Features

Habit Hive includes optional sharing features.

If you choose to share your progress, the information you select is sent only through the sharing method you choose, such as Messages, Mail, or another installed application.

STMForge does not control how third-party applications handle information after you choose to share it.

6. Third-Party Services

Habit Hive relies on trusted third-party services to operate. These services may process information necessary to provide their functionality, including:

• Sign in with Apple
• Google Sign-In
• Firebase Authentication
• Cloud Firestore
• Apple App Store services

These providers maintain their own privacy policies governing the information they process.

7. Purchases and Subscriptions

If Habit Hive offers paid features or subscriptions, purchases are processed through Apple using the App Store.

STMForge does not receive your payment card information.

Apple provides only the information necessary to verify purchases and subscriptions.

8. Children's Privacy

Habit Hive is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and remove the information if appropriate.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect your information.

However, no method of electronic storage or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Data Retention

Your information remains associated with your account until:

• You delete individual habits
• You permanently delete archived habits
• You delete your account
• We are required by law to retain certain information

11. Deleting Your Account

Habit Hive provides an in-app Delete Account feature.

When you choose to delete your account:

• Your Firebase Authentication account is removed
• Your Cloud Firestore profile is deleted
• Your habits are permanently deleted
• Your archived habits in the Honey Vault are permanently deleted
• Your completion history and streaks are permanently deleted

Account deletion cannot be undone.

12. Your Privacy Choices

You may:

• Update your profile information
• Change your display name
• Choose or remove a profile photo
• Delete habits
• Archive or permanently delete archived habits
• Delete your account at any time
• Revoke photo library or camera permissions through your device settings

13. International Users

If you use Habit Hive outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries where our service providers operate.

We will handle your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When changes are made, the Effective Date at the top of this document will be updated.

Material changes may also be communicated through the App or the App Store listing when appropriate.
